Trivia

The 2nd and 4th shows in the first series "Born to Be King" and "The Queen of Spain's Beard" are out of sequence on the 1990, 1992 and 1995 VHS releases. The same goes with the 1999 DVD release and the re-runs on satellite. However, on the Re-mastered boxset they're put back in the correct sequence.

There is a moment in the episode in "Nob and Nobility" where Baldrick sings The Scarlet Pimpernel song, and Blackadder ends it with the pun "And what's that revolting Garlic smell". This has been cut from the 1989, 1992 and 1995 VHS releases of "Blackadder The Third", and only been heard only on the 1992, 1998 and 1999 audio releases of the same series including re-runs of the show on satellite. The edit has since been re-inserted back into the show on the Re-mastered boxset.

The Scene in "Blackadder's Christmas Carol" where Baldrick mentions about the Nativity, a line in which he says the dog will be nailed to a cross for Easter has been removed. This edit has been cut from the 1991 VHS and the 2002 DVD releases plus the re-runs on BBC from 1989, 1998, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2012. The edit only exits on the 1996, 1999 and 2003 audio/CD releases plus the re-runs on GOLD.

At the begining of "Blackadder Back & Forth" the 1998 BBC logo can be seen on the opening scene, despite it having a laughter track on the BBC1 broadcast in 2002. The Re-mastered boxset doesn't have the laughter track, even though the BBC logo is still in tact. This version is also repeated occasionaly on the satellite channel GOLD.
