Consul Georgius is the distant Roman ancestor of the family line played by Hugh Laurie throughout the Blackadder saga.
When we see him in Blackadder: Back and Forth, he skips along the top of Hadrian's Wall in Roman Britain and has a discussion with Centurion Blaccadicus. He arrives just in time for General Melchius to deliver the bad news about the Emperor and Rome. Consul Georgius also notices a 'huge orange hedge moving towards [them]...' This 'orange hedge' turns out to be the Scots.
