Baldrick is a servant of Sir Edmund Blackadder. He is the son of a pig farmer and a bearded lady.
Biography[]
Like his Elizabethan ancestor he moonlights as an executioner, although in his case it is part of a cunning plan to save the life of Charles I of England by replacing his head with a pumpkin. In the end to escape capture, Blackadder scapegoats Baldrick as a royalist, leaving Baldrick with the baby king and Oliver Cromwell to deal with alone.
