Mad Gerald is a character from Blackadder (portrayed by Rik Mayall) who appears in the last episode of The Black Adder.
A one-time cellmate of Prince Edmund whilst the latter was waiting to be eaten alive by snails, he was certifiably insane presumably from spending twenty years in isolation and had two friends: Mr. Rat and, fortunately for Edmund, Mr. Key, which Gerald made from his own teeth.
